<itunes:summary>Radio Free Sarawak is the independent radio station that brings you the news you want to hear, not what the BN government wants you to hear. No one controls us, except you, the listeners of Sarawak . So tune in and get the information, news, interviews, reports and comment that you could never hope to hear on any of the government-controlled radio stations in Malaysia.

There will be plenty of our best music too, all presented to you in Iban and Malay by our presenting team, Papa Orang Utan, Christina Suntai, Michael Ngau and Stanley Rentap!

And remember, you too can phone in to the show and tell us yourself what is going on in your area. Ring us and if you can’t speak to anyone immediately leave your number and we will get back to you.

If you have a problem in your village or if someone is taking your land, logging, planting or polluting your area let your voice be heard and tell the world about it through Radio Free Sarawak!</itunes:summary>

On our show today, more on land issues to clear the air for the benefits of landowners in Sarawak.

Hear from our presenter Christina Suntai and a former Land & Survey department officer with more than 20 years experience.

In fact, there is a win-win solution for landowners, investors and state government. Listen in!

Political ideology and party affiliations aside, uphold ‘tanah adat’ (native customary rights land) is the common interest. And that’s why a Barisan Nasional component party member tells us he donated many short wave radios to his relatives in Marudi!

The same goes to PKR youth wing leader Ambrose Badi. Hear his advice to the younger generation!

Next, listen to the voice of Baram. Another villager affected by the dam walked for hours to borrow a phone to reach us. What was the urgency? And how much compensation is reasonable for landowner to give up their ancestral land? RM3 mil or RM300mil?

Also, we hear from our fans from Tatau, Bintulu and Miri. There is nothing like “Friends of BN” launched by prime minister Najib Razak in London.

We have a case for Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC)!

It is alleged that officers at National Registration Department are ‘selling’ birth certificates to anyone with money, including foreigners.

How cheap is it to become ‘Malaysian’? Listen to the report by our witness.

At the same time, we consider the plight of poor rural folks in Sarawak, living without identity cards for decades. Who will help this group who are not even eligible to vote?

While foreigners who paid to become Malaysian enjoy everything, a disabled guy from Kapit tells us his BR1M application was rejected. Is this Sarawakian not poor enough?

Meanwhile, we catch up with PKR Batang Lupar potential candidate Abang Zulkifli. Isn’t it peculiar that almost everyone in the vast constituency asked him the same question during his visit?

Anyway, an old man from Sebangan, in the same Batang Lupar parliamentary seat, answers almost everything any Iban voter wants to know. Listen in!

To our dear listeners, we appreciate your support against negative reports in BN’s controlled media, but there is no need to go to jail for RFS! Remember, vote for a good government who will truly serve the people’s will, without prejudice.

And, we catch up with PKR Kanowit potential candidate Thomas Laja. What’s his vision of Sarawak?

Definitely not Taib’s wawasan 2030 when the state’s longest serving chief minister turns 94 years old. Listen to the hilarious ‘forecast’ of a listener!

Also, we talk to a single mother from Daro, one of the poorest districts in Sarawak. Her baby is suffering from a rare skin disease. We hope to raise awareness about the plights of many marginalized communities in Sarawak, especially on the eve of this special day. We wish you all Happy Mother’s Day!</itunes:summary>

We bring you reports on the ongoing petition against Baram dam, guess how many locals agree to build the dam? And what happened between Baram MP Jacob Sagan and the rest of the BN representatives?

Despite many petitions and protests, the locals’ plea continues to fall on deaf ears. What’s the next move to stop the damned dam? We talk to SAVE River secretary Mark Bujang.

Meanwhile, we have more sad stories from Baram region. Find out who are those bloody liars and what happened to the community. Is this the development Taib-led government raving about?

Its not too late. There is still hope to get our lands back. Listen in and think of our own future!
