Kenyataan media Menteri Komunikasi dan digital pada 10 Feb 2023 lalu mengundang polimik. Pusat membenteras rasuah dan kronisme-C4 mengkritik Menteri dengan kenyataan terbabit.
Dalam kenyataan itu Fahmi menggesa sector swasta membantu ahli parlimen dalam Kawasan pilihanraya mereka sebagai sebahagian daripada CSR mereka. Kenyataan Fahmi susulan pengurangan elaun pembangunan ahli-ahli parlimen daripada RM3.8 juta setahun kepada RM1.3 juta setahun.
C4 berkata hubungan perniagaan dan politik boleh menjejaskan usaha membenteras rasuah. Lee menjelaskan bahawa CSR dibenarkan dan ia haruslah dilakukan dengan telus dan ikhlas. Ia membantu masyarakat, bukan alat politik - ahli-ahli politik. Berkaitan isu pembatalan perlantikan Nurul Izzah sebagai penasihat kewangan dan ekonomi perdana Menteri, sebaliknya dilantik menganggotai sekreteriat penasihat ekonomi dan kewangan Perdana Menteri. Lee berkata, ini menjelaskan PKR/PH parti yang mendengar kritikan dan saranan rakyat.

The media statement of the Minister of Communications and Digital on 10 February 2023 then invited controversy. The Center for Combating Corruption and Cronyism-C4 criticized the Minister for the statement involved.
In that statement, Fahmi urged the private sector to help members of parliament in their constituencies as part of their CSR. Fahmi's statement followed the reduction of development allowances for members of parliament from RM3.8 million per year to RM1.3 million per year.
C4 said business and political ties can affect the fight against corruption. Lee explained that CSR is allowed and it should be done transparently and sincerely. It helps society, not political tools - politicians. Regarding the issue of the cancellation of the appointment of Nurul Izzah as financial and economic advisor to the Prime Minister, she was instead appointed as a member of the secretariat of the Prime Minister's economic and financial advisor. Lee said, this explains PKR/PH is a party that listens to the people's criticism and suggestions.
