    Kami bertanyakan kepada Nicholas Laing dari Long Selapun, Baram . Berkaitan satu pengiklanan penjualan tanah PL milik Maspo development Sdn.bhd. Berkeluasan 48,583.00 hentar/120,084.593 ekar. Dengan harga tawaran RM7500 seekar. Tanah tersebut bernilai RM900 juta. Kedudukan tanah ini menurut apa yang diiklankan di FB iaitu di diantara Sungai Paong, Sungai Dapol dan sungai Lobang- Baram.

    Nicholas menjelaskan lokasi yang disebutkan adalah Kawasan tanah NCR penduduk kampung Long Selapun (rumah Panjang Nicholas),Long Loyang,Long Lu'a dan Long Puah. Namun mereka tak tahu mana-mana syarikat diberi PL di Kawasan terbabit. Namun beliau menegaskan sejak beberapa tahun lalu banyak syarikat yang datang nak beli tanah di Kawasan tersebut. Tetapi penduduk kampung tak mahu jual. Bagaimanapun sekiranya tanah tersebut telah diserahkan PL kepada Maspo. Itu beliau takt ahu. Tetapi kalau benar- beliau dan penduduk kampung akan berusaha mempertahankan tanah mereka dengan seberapa daya yang boleh. Namun Nicholas tegaskan.
