Iswardi Morni, Political analyst from Sarawak
*Countdown to Election Day: The Battle for Power in Six Key States*
In less than 48 hours, voters in 6 states will vote to elect representatives to the DUN of Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu, N9, Selangor and Penang. PN/PAS is still trying to give hope to their supporters that a big victory in 6 states will allow them to capture Putrajaya/Federal Government. According to Iswardi- in terms of logic and mathematics, there is no possibility that GPS and GRS will support PN/PAS even if the Unity Government loses in 6 states. But these are all PAS tactics to give encouragement and hope to their supporters to vote and continue to support PN/PAS. Actually - according to Iswardi the people of Sabah and Sarawak are very anti PAS Party which brings extreme Islamic ideology. PAS President Hadi Awang in his latest speech yesterday claimed that GPS and GRS will support PN/PAS to form a new government in Putrajaya if they capture 6 states in the August 12 poll. In addition to the PAS vote argument, you will get a ticket to heaven. PAS also issued a statement today. Voting for a tyrannical leader will be a sin. Iswardi agreed that voting for a tyrannical leader would be a sin. Therefore, he asked the people in Kelantan to reject PAS because PAS has oppressed them by not being able to supply clean water to the people of Kelantan. Until recently, the federal government gave a large allocation to supply clean water for the entire state of Kelantan. In general, Iswardy thinks the PH/BN Government will be able to maintain victory in N9, Selangor and Penang. Terengganu will still be won by PAS. But the situation is still 50/50 in Kedah and Kelantan.

Zulhaidah Suboh, PKR Sibuti Chief
*Voices of Concern: Zulhaidah Challenges Lukanisman's Commitment to Sibuti*
Deputy Health Minister Lukanisman Awang Sauni has addressed allegations from netizens suggesting a decreased focus on the needs of his Sibuti constituency. He clarified that despite his demanding official commitments in other areas, the people of Sibuti remain a priority in his heart. Lukanisman emphasized that his advocacy for enhanced education and health services remains unwavering. He expressed his continuous dedication to providing dignified services to Sarawak, underscoring the importance of quality education and healthcare facilities in the region.
Zulhaidah responded, questioning the prioritization of the people when constituents find themselves unable to seek assistance or resolve issues at Lukanisman's service center. She mentioned that those who voted for Lukanisman often turn to the PKR Sibuti for help when they hit a dead end, and she is committed to assisting regardless of party affiliation.
Lukanisman asserted that the people of Sibuti are close to his heart, yet actions have not reflected this sentiment through tangible support and aid.
Zulhaidah outlined persistent shortcomings in basic infrastructure development and poor internet coverage in Sibuti. She noted that while political awareness is now primarily garnered through social media, inadequate internet coverage hinders the progress of the people in Sibuti.
She pointed out that despite being a Deputy Health Minister in the federal government, Lukanisman has failed to improve the medical facilities in Sibuti.
Zulhaidah, who is currently in Penang assisting with the PH election campaign, emphasized that PH campaigns on the basis of accomplishments, highlighting their impressive track record in governing states like Selangor and Penang to appeal to voters. With only two days left until the election, she urged voters from the six states to return home and cast their votes.

Pn Agnes from Selangau
*Challenges on the Field: Farmers Respond to Tech-Centric Agriculture*
Minister of Food Industry, Commodity and Regional Development, Dato Sri Dr. Stephen Rundi, emphasized the crucial role of technology in elevating Sarawak's agriculture sector. He underscored that embracing technology is essential for the state to enhance its agricultural development.
In response to Dato' Sri Dr. Stephen Rundi's assertion about technology's significance, Pn Agnes raised a pertinent question, "Does this technological advancement primarily favor larger corporations? How does it benefit small-scale farmers like us?"
She further highlighted that pressing concerns such as escalating costs of agricultural essentials such as pesticides and fertilizers have yet to be effectively addressed by the government.
Pn Agnes pointed out the dissonance between the decreasing price of palm oil and the persistently high costs of vital inputs like pesticides, fertilizers, and palm oil seeds. In this context, she questioned the feasibility of progress for small farmers within this challenging landscape.
Calling for tangible action, Pn Agnes urged Dato' Sri Dr. Stephen Rundi to regularly visit agricultural fields, gain insights into the obstacles faced by small farmers and planters, and explore practical solutions to aid them. She emphasized the need for actions to match eloquent speeches made at events, stressing the importance of concrete efforts in addressing the issues at hand.
