Tonight, a special edition of RFS as we investigate COVID-19 in Sarawak! The long journey from longhouse to hospital: Residents of the Long Bah Longhouse face a 3 hour boat journey to Kapit hospital. The 300-strong village of mostly elderly people had 8 residents test positive who were sent by express boat to the nearest hospital, 7 days after the swab test. As the village wait on other test results, resident, Gabriel Atong, asks for a health team to be sent to his village to help control the outbreak.
We also speak to Sarawak DAP Secretary Alan Ling, who blasts the Sarawak government's failure to control the pandemic as cases climb to record highs.
Lastly, welcome to life in quarantine! Rudy Nyambar from Rumah Kujat, Jikang, was quarantined inside the indoor stadium after a routine swab test revealed his whole family were positive for COVID-19.
