cases of abandoned hospitals in Sarawak due to corruption, unstable politics and projects given to crony contractors with no skills

John explained that most cases of abandoned hospitals in Sarawak (lawas, Sri Aman and Petrajaya) due to corruption, unstable politics (always changing governments) and projects given to crony contractors with no skills.

Then there was a proposal from Primeir Sarawak to build a Cancer center in Sarawak this year using state funds - if allowed by the federal government. Then the federal government has to reimburse the state government later. John sees this issue as not quite right. Because currently the power over health is still in the central jurisdiction. Unless the Prime Minister of Sarawak has been able to expect that power over health and education will be returned to Sarawak through MA63. maybe that's why Primier suggested that more allocations be given to Sarawak.

But John is worried if there is still corruption and the awarding of contracts to cronies. Then again such projects will fail. But in accordance with the spirit of unity government. John asked that in the event of corruption and leakage in the GPS government administration in Sarawak. Should be reported directly to the Prime Minister. John added that democracy is not just about administration and elections, but leaders should be open to criticism and the people should act if there is a case of corruption and abuse of power.

PKR Sarawak has dialogue with Minister of Health, all healthcare problems are being noted by Minister

In the past, there were many problems with medical facilities and equipment in Sarawak, but there was no way to ask for help, no officials responded, and no ministers paid attention. Under the formation of the unity government, Dr Zaleha, the Minister of Health from PKR, took the lead in meeting with PKR Sarawak and NGOs before meeting with Sarawak government officials to listen to and discuss the medical issues in Sarawak.

Roland said that representatives from each division of PKR attended this dialogue meeting to raise the problems faced by the district, and Dr Zaleha also carefully recorded and gave feedback. Including, the clinics in the outback are "sick" (dilapidated) and some are only half restored.

Abun Sui also said that the relationship between health and the source of drinking water for residents is inseparable. The river Sungai koyan, which the residents of Sungai Asap depend on for their livelihood, has been polluted due to logging and plantation projects upstream. The residents of Sungai Asap can only buy mineral water for drinking water. According to the survey, among Bintulu, the residents of Sungai Asap are the ones who buy the most mineral water. He emphasize, health link with environment, we cannot ignore the environment issue too.

Sarawak PKR MPN will collect all the problems and hand them over to the minister for the next step.
