On the show today: Keep the loggers out! Penan and Kayan folk have travelled to Miri to take their plight to the Forest Department... since the Forest Department hasn't been coming to hear their situation or protect their forest. Instead, the Forest Department continues to hand out licences to logging firms which have trampled on native rights. After 40 years and the destruction of Sarawak's natural forests will they listen this time? And the joys of coming to live in town instead? We continue our review of the desperate situation facing people who have been forced off the land and are seeking livelihoods in towns like Miri - a graduate with two jobs explains she still has to live in a squat owing to house prices in the town. This and more online from 6pm....
