The issue has been raised again with the Sabah election and we look at the struggles so many indigenous people in Sarawak face to get Identity Cards in their own native lands. It took Muni (whose people were here long before the likes of Taib) 30 years to be granted her ID card, depriving her of education, health and (of course) the right to vote about the destruction and plunder of her lands - she is one of many.
