1. Jofree Jaraee- Protest and Boycott KK Mart is ok but acts of violence are extreme. Protest and Boycott KK Mart because of the offense of selling socks with the word Allah is sufficient. After all, the court action was done by the authorities.
2. Activists from Sabah and Sarawak urged Akmal Saleh- the UMNO youth leader who ignited the allah socks issue should be banned from entering Sarawak. Because it has the potential to disrupt national unity. This is according to the head of publicity for the Sarawak People's Aspiration Association (SAPA) - Peter John Jaban. The ban also includes 4 other preachers, namely- Mohd Riduan Tee Abdullah, Firdaus Wong, Zamri Vinoth Kalimuthu and Syakir Nasoha.
3. Najib's main lawyer - Mohammad Shafie Abdullah claims there is an addendum (supplement) to the king's order/through the pardon board that gives permission for Najib to spend the remainder of his 6-year sentence at home. However, Interior Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail denied having any information about the addendum. What I have is a letter of application from Najib to spend the remainder of his sentence at home. Shafie revealed that his side has critical witnesses who will testify to support the judicial review submitted on April 1, 2024.

Najib has not repented, on the contrary, he has become increasingly arrogant - the punishment handed down to Najib due to abuse of power, and money laundering in the SRC case did not make Najib repent. *Legal Battle for NCR Land: Belawai Residents Stand Firm Against Halal Hub Development*
Roland Engan in the framework of 1 day to the Belawai District in the Tajong Manis Parliamentary constituency. He attended at the invitation of the residents of 3 long houses, namely Rh. Crouching, Rh. Francis and Rh. Datu.
These three longhouses were affected due to the acquisition of NCR land for the development of Halal Hub in Tanjong Manis. Residents demand that their land be removed from being used as a Halal Hub site and if forced to use it, they must be paid a fair price. All conflicting parties can face each other in a dialogue that reaches an agreement.
The developers - Tanjong Manis Food Industris and GP Pusaka Sdn. Bhd - agreed to pay damages/compensation to the residents whose land was affected if the residents were able to prove their ownership rights over the developed land. Residents are grateful that the land leveling process has not yet been implemented. This gives them a great opportunity to prove their temuda, gardens and crops that are on the land. The residents were represented by Lawyer Roland Engan while GP Pusaka Sdn.Bhd was represented by Lawyer George Lo.
Roland hopes that residents who are facing NCR land problems to contact him early so that the proof will be easier to do. Roland expects this case to side with the residents of the 3 longhouses he represents

*Maintaining Peace Amidst Unrest: Sarawak's PAS Response to KK Mart Attacks*
On March 13, 2024 - went viral on social media - the issue of socks with the word allah on them were sold at KK Mart Bandar Sunway Selangor. On March 26, 2024, a molotov cocktail attack occurred in front of KK Mart Bidor Perak. On 30 March there was another attack at KK Mart Kuantan Pahang and on 1 April 2024 there was an unexpected attack. A molotov cocktail explosion at KK Mart Jalan Satok- Kuching.
Jofre strongly condemned the attack and the attack on KK Mart in Kuching was very unexpected. According to Jofre, the issue of socks with the word Allah is hot in the peninsula, but the situation in Sarawak is peaceful and calm. The people of Sarawak are very tolerant.
But I expect that there are parties who take advantage of this issue to launch violence in order to create chaos in our country. I hope all parties remain calm and let the authorities investigate and take action. Protests by a few parties are allowed, boycotts are also allowed but don't lead to violence - Said Jofri Jaraee.

*1MDB Scandal: PetroSaudi Directors' Trial Begins in Switzerland*
Two directors of the company PetroSaudi, Tarek Obaid and Patrick Mahony, are facing trial in Switzerland for allegedly defrauding Malaysia's 1MDB fund of $1.83 billion. The trial began with the directors challenging the case against them, with their lawyers citing bias and demanding certain judges be recused. Obaid's lawyers also requested the proceedings be held in secret due to safety concerns, as he claims to be in fear of his life while purportedly taking refuge in Saudi Arabia. The court rejected most of these challenges, conceding only to keep certain private matters secret. The public prosecutors criticized these maneuvers as delaying tactics. The indictment alleges that Obaid and Mahony enriched themselves through kickbacks and fraudulent transactions, including the purchase of drill ships with 1MDB cash. The indictment outlines a series of fraudulent schemes and cover-ups involving fake loans and restructuring exercises to conceal the theft from 1MDB. The trial is expected to last the whole of April.

*Bumpy Roads: Challenges Beyond the Marudi Bridge*
The Marudi Bridge project is currently 27% away from completion. Pekerjaan Piasau Konkerit (PPK) Sdn Bhd took over the project, which began in 2010 and was originally scheduled for completion by January 2022. However, following the termination of the previous contractor, the completion date was revised to June 2025 by JKR. An engineer from JKR Miri Division reported that the project is currently 73.43% completed in a briefing to the director.
Mr. Linggang reported to RFS regarding the development of the Marudi Bridge which is still under construction. According to Mr. Linggang, the completion of the Marudi Bridge will indeed benefit the people so they do not have to rely on the ferry.
However, the problem is not yet resolved even when the bridge is completed. This is because the plantation road used is very dangerous for the people. The road is narrow and often causes vehicles to easily have accidents. The small, hilly, and winding road has caused several incidents and fatalities. This is the downside when the Sarawak government has given their cronies in the plantation company PL, and finally the people have to face danger every time they pass through it. Mr. Linggang said, before giving land plantation companies to farm, it is better to focus on building roads for the people first in a more orderly development plan. Prioritize the people and do not prioritize cronies' interests.
