A new Presenter, who needs no introduction to Sarawak’s Dayak community, has joined your familiar team to re-launch Radio Free Sarawak, this Monday, 15th of June at 6pm, to greet the end of lockdown and the start of a new campaign for justice for the Sarawak people.
Famous among Sarawak listeners for very many years, the much loved veteran broadcaster Thomas Tegong Laka will make his debut on the re-vamped Iban/Malay language show (with a splash of many other Dayak dialects) to explain why he has abandoned decades of ‘mainstream’ to embrace the new media with RFS.
Also on today’s show, the new PKR leader Larry Sng has agreed to give one of his first full interviews since taking on the daunting job of leading Sarawak PKR after the unprecedented upheavals in the party over the past weeks. There has been much blame, much anger and many have deserted the party, but he says he is up to the challenge and sees a new dawn.
And there will be plenty more to watch out for in the coming programmes as we will be chasing the issues and chasing the people you want to hear from.
