[BERITA UTAMA]

Dr John Bampa, activist from Baram – IN GPS, DAYAK IS BUSINESSMAN AND MELANAU MELAYU IS IN MANAGEMENT
11 ministers and deputy ministers from GPS, but only 3 are Dayak, is there the way to help Dayak voice out in Parliament?
Dr John Bampa comment that, the cabinet list of Sarawak GPS is provided by the premier, and in GPS, dayak is mainly engaged in business, and the management is melanau-melayu. This is an indisputable fact. Therefore, if the new generation of dayak want a better future, they should go in the direction of management.
He said that in GPS, it is clear that the ulu MPs are not senior enough to be able to represent in the cabinet or speak out for Dayak.
But Fadilah Yusof, as Deputy Prime Minister and taking care of the issue MA 63, has the responsibility to fight for the restoration of MA63 for Sarawak, but this will be a challenge because it involves the constitution and requires the consent of two-thirds of the Parliament.
