On the show today: Decades of empty promises and still not even basic facilities for native communities robbed of their lands and timber. Boyce Anyie from Mulu, a region ravaged by concessions handed to the Taib family, says promised projects from the last election have still not been fulfilled, including a RM300 million promised upgrade of the logging roads used by Samling to take their timber. Instead of being converted to serve the communities as promised the roads are now fallen into disrepair with bridges collapsed. As for promised micro-hydro electric power from the last election cycle? Nothing. Not even clean water has been provided. Also, sick people from Limbang have to travel through Brunei to get to their hospital, but many are too poor to afford the tolls, why have their powerful YBs failed to solve this issue?
