On the Show Tonight: 'Squatters' On Their Own Land? Yet another native community who have sought and failed to get the title deeds for their land now face eviction after discovering the state government quietly handed their land to a commercial plantation company - Remauld Siew, President of the native rights group JOAS, is amongst those affected by this latest outrage in Suai Niah. Meanwhile, we speak to another victim of the arrogant administration - Benet Buda, has lived in the village of Desa Senadin for more than 30 years but now he and his village face eviction on the grounds of 'building a house on government land'. All this whilst the state budget provides minuscule funds to assist native communities in acquiring titles for their land - PKR leader Larry Sng has warned the show that under the state government's present plans it will take over a hundred years for the people of Sarawak to complete the mapping for their land titles. He pledges to boost the budget for native land titles if elected. This and much more online from 6pm.....
