On the show tonight: Fire and Floods. While waters are continuing to rise in Baram the hazard of fire from dangerous wiring remains for many longhouses. We speak to the headman of Seabtu Suai, Niah who says the cables installed on the 80 door longhouse have never been checked or certified - SEB has not responded to requests. But of course, his longhouse is poorly serviced in every way and as elected headman he has never been paid since the area is not 'pro-GPS'. Also, the long-running Lawas hospital project - we visit an empty field, listen to the health claims of YB Aron Ago Dagang and then hear from campaigners about why after years not a brick has been laid. And, on the Sabah election we talk to the watchdog Bersih who has cried foul on 'PM8"s blatant bribes offered to voters in the form of promises. Promises made at elections, on the other hand, are rarely kept as Sarawakians well know.
