Wahid Anyie, Resident of Penan Long Belok
*Penan people want peaceful negotiations, not provocations and fights*
Wahid gave an update on the blockade set up by two Penan villages, namely Long Belok and Long Sanyan. Wahid felt sad because their blockade was demolished by the Shin Yang Kejin Camp company on July 18, 2023. Also involved in the demolition process are the forest department and the police. However, a day later the blockade was re-established on 19 July 2023. The Penan people asked for a dialogue to be held before Shin Yang entered the logging area that preserves the catchment/drinking water area and the protected area that the Penan people depend on to live in this protected forest area. The Penan people want peaceful negotiations, not provocations and fights - said Wahid Anyie.

Abun Sui, Senator of Sarawak PKR
*Residents of Belaga Want for 13th Sarawak Division*
Abun said the dreams and hopes of the people of Sarawak to experience better development culminated in the era of the Unity Government when the relationship between the federal and state governments was at its best.
The recent statement by the Premier of Sarawak which imagines the Serian Division in the state as if it were a mini New Zealand is hoped to realize the residents' dream for the area to be developed as a tourist attraction. Abun said that there is another dream which is the residents of Belaga who want the area to be appointed as the 13th Sarawak Division because of its geographical position near the new capital of Indonesia, Nusantara.
He said it caused him to be called to voice the dream of the people of Belaga District for the area to be elevated to the 13th Sarawak Division. If Serian is dreamed of becoming like a mini New Zealand, they the people of Belaga District, it is enough to elevate this district to the 13th Division.
Abun said that he had an informal discussion with the Premier of Sarawak regarding the position of Belaga and hoped that there would be further action regarding the matter.

Mejar Moses, new PBDS President
*PBDS will not follow in PSB's footsteps*
Mejar Moses told RFS about the revival of PBDS after not having a leader for several months. The main focus now is to choose a leader for each section, claim the Dayak area as the focus of the upcoming campaign and reconquer the Dayak area.
PBDS This time more openness to all races including the Ulu people and those of other religions can also be accepted in PBDS.
Mejar Moses insisted that they will continue to remain as the Solo opposition in Sarawak even though in the past campaign they signed an MOU with PSB and PBK with the opposition, now that is no longer relevant after the last election and thus PBDS today stands alone as a Solo Opposition party in Sarawak. PBDS will not follow in PSB's footsteps.
PBDS sticks to the principle of fighting for the Dayak issue.

Thomas Fann, chairperson of Bersih 2.0
*Bersih Suggest Guidelines for Fair Elections*
Thomas Fann said that for the coming 6 States elections, Bersih received reports that the Unity Government Prime Minister and the Ministers in their public speeches or government events, made special allocations for farmers, fishermen in Kedai, religious schools in Penang, and so on.
Bersih is concerned if those are kind of offense. Those 6 states are under caretaker government. However, the Federal government is still functioning, and it is not wise to want them to be in caretaker mode as the country needs to run.
Therefore, Bersih proposed 3 guidelines, the 3Cs:
- There should be no conditions attached to any allocation announcement or promise of project to be done at this time.
- The Prime Minister or ministers should not use the stage as a campaign platform for their party.
- No candidate should be in the ministers' group in their official duties. This creates an unfair playing field.
Thomas Fann said that the same guidelines should apply to the Federal election, even though the state governments are still functioning. He wants to ensure that all parties have a fair chance in the elections. He hopes that the SPR or government secretary will take his situation into consideration and release their official guidelines. In the past, the caretaker government was not in political dialogue.
However, Thomas Fann believes that these guidelines can be made better, including those states governments that are not involved in the election.
