Tok Mudin, A retiree government servant from Betong

*Is Sarawakian Comfort Under the Current Administration Hindering Progress by GPS Government?*

A few days ago Puan Asiah abd Jalil posted on FB provoking the people of Sabah and Sarawak. According to Asiah, if placed to work in Sabah or Sarawak, he would resign within 24 hours. Because Sabah/Sarawak remains poor even after 60 years together in Malaysia, lacking basic facilities, it is difficult to plan a career, plan a family and raise children. For Tok Mudin, what Mrs. Asiah said is the reality in Sarawak. In the main urban centers in Sarawak there are indeed facilities. But 20 kilometers from the city center has seen poverty, poor schools, dilapidated clinics, long houses/villages with no telephone/internet facilities. If this is the case, how do you plan to continue studying? How will children excel in their studies, asked Tok Mudin. Mudin also questioned why the number of specialist teachers in Sarawak is so low. At MRSM Betong for example, almost all teaching staff are junior staff. Betong Hospital still fails to manage births (for mothers aged 35 and over) due to the absence of a specialist doctor, even though it is only 3 hours from Kuching city and 3 hours from Sibu city. Betong Hospital is only able to give basic medicines such as Paracetamol. For Mudin. What Mrs. Asiah said was intended to make the people of Sarawak aware not to depend too much on peninsular Malaysia. Sarawakians should not blame others. But you have to question why the country itself remains poor. Is it because the people of Sarawak are too comfortable under the current administration? Tok Mudin's question.

Chiew Choon Man, PKR MP of Miri

*Assisting Stateless Children: Ensuring Equal Access to Education and Identity Documentation*

Recently, Chiew's team provided assistance to a Chinese family in handling the necessary documents for their stateless child's enrollment in school, which included proof of parental guardianship.

As a representative of PKR Miri, Chiew actively communicated and coordinated with relevant departments and official organizations to ensure the application was processed correctly. The aim of assisting the family with these documents is to help them address their education-related issues, enabling their child to enroll smoothly and access educational opportunities.

Chiew highlighted that cases of individuals without identity cards are prevalent in rural areas, but they also occur in cities, often due to issues with parents' marriage certificates or a lack of identification for one parent.

Chiew pledged to continue dedicating efforts to providing assistance to families in need, with the goal of ensuring every child can enjoy equal rights to education. Recognizing the crucial role of education in children's growth and development, Chiew expressed the hope that every child can achieve their dreams. For individuals experiencing difficulties with identity card applications, Chiew remains readily available to offer assistance.

Thomas Fann, Chairperson of Bersih 2.0

*Vote out the party that cause corruption from GLC*

On statement by Muhiddyn. As all Unity govt now also appointing politicians to GLC posts. With that Muhiddyn also will appoint politicians from his party if they win in the coming election in all 6 states.

Bersih in the opinion that, first that is misuse of power. Secondly, this is wrong in term management.

As a govt, our job is to protect as we have a trust to properties or funds or any national resources for the people.

So, GLC is a government link companies and not personal company. Where you can make use of the resources to pay your people's salaries. Where they have no drill and expertise as à Chairman or Director of these companies. This is public funds. Most of these companies are not small companies. They are responsibility to millions of transaction of properties.

So we need a person that has skill and expertise qualify to be appointed to take care all of these. And not politicians. Thus i would like to remaind Tan Sri Muhiddyn, that GLC is not à politicians ATM.

We want a clear procèss and indépendance body that the appointed person has qualify skill and expertise as a Chairman or Director in GLC. But currently no. All are depand on winner party. Same goes to Unity Govt. The public must stop this culture

That is why we always impersise that correct method of appointement of GLC.

Vote out the party that cause corruption from GLC
