Nick Kelesau, Spokesperson for Penan Keruan

*Penan's achievements will be better with good educational facilities*

The Penan community, despite being a minority ethnic group in Sarawak and mainly residing in rural areas, has produced 226 university graduates in less than three decades. This achievement is attributed to the establishment of a school for Penan children in Long Jekitan 34 years ago, which has yielded fruitful results. Premier Abang Johari Tun Openg expressed his pride in this accomplishment.

Although the Premier of Sarawak gave figures for the achievements of the Penan people in the field of Education, it seemed encouraging. But according to Nick, if good educational facilities are given to the Penan people. The Penan people will be able to reach the highest level in the field of Education on par with other races in Malaysia. According to Nick, the Penan people are facing a very difficult challenge because they are in a very remote area in the interior. To get to the nearest school, it takes hours of travel using a Long boat, walking, using a four-wheel drive car or riding a log truck. Nick hopes that a primary school and a secondary school are built near the area where the Penan people live and the Penan people should be helped through scholarships. Schools in the interior should be added with facilities and good roads should be built to connect penan settlements to schools. Nick hopes that successful Penan children will contribute back to their community.

Oscar Ling, DAP MP for Sibu

*Six states elections, and big chance for reforms*

The Election Commission announced the polling day today, and it is believed that voters in the six states are eagerly looking forward to casting their votes. And also hope that voters who are working or studying in other states can return home to vote.

This state election is unrelated to Sarawak, but it appears that the Deputy Prime Minister Zahid has invited GPS to campaign on their platform, although GPS's decision is currently unknown. If they refuse to campaign, it signifies that they have not taken a stance yet.

According to Oscar, GPS is part of the unity government, but they have not expressed their position in the state election.

Oscar Ling stated that although it is a state election, it has significant implications for the national economic recovery and the people. He mentioned that past governments were plagued by corruption, resulting in policies in many states that did not benefit the people. Therefore, this is an opportunity for the people to make a fresh choice, elect PH and unity goverment, and work together with the federal government to bring about reforms.

    Aeslinn of Undi18

*Volunteer Recruitment Challenges for Ballot Envelope Delivery in Rural Areas Ahead of PRN*

There will be special screening on documentary Votemalaysia. These clips were taken during affords of bringing back postal ballot papers last year.

The screening will show what Undi18 have done from collecting of the ballot from KLIA to KL scout and distribution to respective constituencies during PRU 15.

There will also Penal session discussing on better way for democracy voice of Malaysians be heard.

Also press conference on what votemalaysia will do for the coming of 6 states PRN.

In her own experiences was very encouraging, where we can see Malaysians all over the world excited to have their voices heard. But the biggest challenges was lack of time. Starting from when SPR announced the closing date for registration of postal votes till polling day. It was little bit of struggled but managed to do it.

Another challenge was looking for volunteers to deliver the ballot envelopes to respective 222 Returning Officer offices. For the coming PRN there are 245 offices. This will be more challenging for more rural areas like Kelantan and Kedah.

they are still encouraging people to sign up as the closing date for Postal vote is on this Saturday.

    Charles Santiago, Former Klang MP

*Muhyiddin's GLC Appointments, is about bribery*

On statement by Muhyiddin. As all Unity govt now also appointing politicians to GLC posts. With that Muhyiddin also will appoint politicians from his party if they win in the coming election in all 6 states.

Charles Santiago comment on Muhyiddin statement, saying it is come with bribery intention.

Former Klang MP Charles Anthony Santiago has been appointed as the chairman of National Water Services Commission (SPAN) effective March 20.

He stated that GLCs (Government-Linked Companies) are meant to help enrich the nation, but it is apparent that Muhyiddin's rhetoric is aimed at enriching his own party, prioritizing their interests over the nation's. He called it an abuse of power, and it is astonishing that Muhyiddin openly declared it. Charles believes that individuals appointed to GLC positions must prioritize the interests of the nation, seek wealth for the country, and serve the people. If actions are taken similar to Muhyiddin's, it not only fails to benefit the nation but also constitutes an abuse of power.
